Just about everything is possible in this day and age of digital manipulation.
As can be seen by the examples on the right, backgrounds can be changed, colours can be enhanced, photos can be cropped, people removed, people or objects can be added.

Don't be too hasty discarding a photo because of over or under exposure, these too can be rescued.

How we restore your precious photos.
When you send us your original photograph, we first evaluate the damage and then plan for the restoration process.
Your photo is scanned with a high resolution optical scanner, producing a computer file into our computer.
We then adjust the exposure, contrast, and brightness levels to obtain the best image.
Now we are ready to begin the actual restoration process. We start by removing the blemishes, spots and stains.
The image is then adjusted to improve tone and contrast, to repair cracks, creases, rips, tears or other damage and to remove any unwanted features.
If parts of the picture are totally missing, the surrounding picture area is used to create the missing parts. If required, we can also remove or add persons or background material, including material from other photographs.
We can accept original photographs of almost any size, the final picture being enlarged or reduced to meet your requirements.
Very small originals (less than about 3 ins by 4 ins) do however place limitations on the size of the final print if reasonable quality is to be maintained.
In general, we do not recommend enlarging photographs to more than twice their original size.
The amount of work involved in restoring a photograph depends not only on the extent of the damage, but also on the amount of fine detail which needs to be rebuilt.
Once your photograph has been restored we will retain a copy of the computer file as a conventional photographic negative for future reference.
